When is the next civil service exam? What are the next steps after I take the civil service exam? How can I study for the civil service exam? What is the physical agility test like? I live out of town, how many trips will I have to make to Garland to complete the process? I have prior police experience, will I be able to go through the accelerated 10 week academy? Can I be hired if I have speeding tickets, other criminal history or instances of illegal drug use in my past? I am still active military duty and will not be able to get my DD214 in time to mail it in with my application. Will I still be able to get 5 extra points on the civil service exam? What documents do I need to bring with me to the exam? If I do not pass the civil service exam, when can I reapply and take the test again? If I pass the civil service exam, but I do not pass a later step in the process, do I have to start all over again?
